Battlestar Galactica

So it's a remake of a seriously cheesy old science fiction show that somehow manages to go down as one of the most acclaimed shows of the decade? Very cool. All I really know about the original is that my dad used to mock Lorne Greene and his "rag tag fugitive fleet." And I have to admit that I tuned out of the remake after the first season - too much angst - but I kept an eye on the story and may catch up with it on DVD. (The follow-up series, Caprica aired for a season, but didn't catch on with a wide audience.)
