Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps
Coupling Episode Review
In which there are false alarms.
What Happened
Sally worries that she might be pregnant. Just to be sure, she asks Susan and Jane to pee on their own sticks for comparison. Sally mixes up the tests, however, leaving them in suspense regarding who had the positive result.
Susan is sure that it is not her. She and Steve been trying (sort of) and nothing has happened. Going to get checked out, there was a Jeff incident. (He brought Steve some proper porn. And his pillow. And Patrick.) Susan finally gave up on getting his sample - the doctor says she's the one with the problem, not Steve.
James is celibate and in Germany, so Jane has ruled him out as the potential father. There was the time she went over to Jeff's in a desperate mood. He admitted that Julia is off exploring her feelings for Joe and Jane was a bit off over James being in love with God.
Fortunately, that's about when Steve called for his porn delivery. And the pizza man arrived with lunch.
As Sally notes that she had Peter, the guy in bed with her when "Spiderman" showed up, Patrick texts Sally to meet him at the bar. There, he tells her how wonderful she is and how she deserves Mr. Amazing. I don't want Mr. Amazing, she says, I want you.
I was talking about me, he says.
And then there is a dance. From Steve and Jeff. To the theme from Spiderman.
Sally is thrilled, until Jane runs in. She's not pregnant! (That's news to the newly returned James.) Sally is sure she's screwed this up, but Susan arrives with her own stick.
She's the one who's pregnant.

- Sally was surrounded by the whole mad cubicle.
- Lesbians are porn efficient.
- There is no receptionist for masturbation.
- The more wonderful you are at the start of the speech, the more dumped you are at the end.

Best Lines
Susan: "I'm glad your the one with breasts, Jane. I'd hate for someone to get us mixed up."
What Did I Think?
Loved it. Though I have the same problem with them ditching James and Julia, Sally and Patrick make up for it. I don't know why, really, because he is something of an ass and she makes me fidget, but there you go.
