Ghost World
Last year's "Plan B" was probably my favorite episode ever. So many things going on, all firing off at once. Pretty much all the episodes are good, but that one just caught my attention straight from the start and didn't let go.
But I think "Ghost World" may have pushed it out of the top spot. I loved seeing all the folks they got to come back. Loved Mason and Damon's little quest and how they tied it back into Alaric. Although I do wish we'd seen Mason and Tyler.
Bonnie got stuff to do and... Look. It's a TV show. No one can be happy in a relationship and it's only a matter of time before they break up. So all I can say about Bonnie and Jeremy ending is that they did it well. Really well. Anna and Jeremy had - as it were - unfinished business and it felt right to me that things went the way they did. Now, if they would only steer poor broken-hearted Bonnie into Matt's arms!
Loved Lexi! Heart her forever for simply smacking Stefan to the floor and going to work at setting him straight. Loved how Jeremy and Anna tied into Elena and Stefan.
Now, I know how I want the story to end, but it's amazing how complacent I'm becoming about this show. Even if it seems like things are going off on a tangent, it will all tie back around and even if I don't get my way, I've got such confidence that I'll like whatever they pull out enough that it won't matter.
Oh! And I bawled my eyes out at Anna and her mother.
