Bringing Home the Beacon
Farscape Episode Review
In which everyone gets in trouble.
What Happened
Aeryn, Chiana, Sikozu and Noranti take a transport pod to a commerce station. They need someone to create a sensor pod that can fool a long range scan into thinking Moya is something besides a Leviathan. While they wait, Aeryn and Sikozu notice the arrival of Commandant Grayza and Ahkna, a Scarran War Minister. They are on the station for an unofficial peace negotiation. Grayza is willing to hand over the Luxan worlds to the Scarrans in exchange for some disputed areas in the Uncharted Territories. Aeryn wants to kill Grayza, but doesn't get a clear shot.
When Ahkna takes Grayza prisoner, Aeryn and Sikozu reluctantly go to free her. They plan to hand Grayza over to the High Council to be tried for treason, but Grayza and Braca escape. Aeryn is separated from the others and barely makes it back to the pod in time.
Back on Moya, they are pursued by a Scarran vessel. As Scorpius tries to connect the modified sensor pod, John becomes suspicious when Aeryn doesn't understand his reference to the baby. He shoots Aeryn, revealing a bionoid replicant. The real Aeryn is a prisoner of the Scarrans.
