A Clockwork Nebari
Farscape Episode Review
In which John has something of great urgency to tell us.
What Happened
Aeryn and Rygel return from a trip acting very very odd. They have been captured a mind-cleansed by the Nebari, who are still chasing Chiana. When they take control of Moya, they lock a control collar around Pilot and begin cleansing D'Argo, John, and Zhaan.
Chiana tells John that she and her brother were sent out from their home planet infected with a disease. As carriers, they spread it around from world to world, until Neeri got his hands on a cure. After that, they were forced to separate and Neeri joined the rebellion against his planet's rulers.
Varla wants Chiana brought back to Nebari to use as bait for her brother, but she is unaware that her sidekick Meelak is one of Neeri's agents. (Neeri's not as dead as we thought.) The Harvey clone in John's head helps him shake off the cleansing and he begins to set a trap for Varla.
With Pilot's help, John convinces her that they are under attack by a Peacekeeper battalion. She still refuses to remove Pilot's collar, however, and threatens to kill Chiana rather than see her handed over to the Peacekeepers, forcing Meelak to shoot her.
Chiana insists that Meelak take her to her brother, but he refuses, telling her that Neeri does not want to put her life in danger.
