Fetal Attraction, pt 1
Farscape Episode Review
In which it is still all about Aeryn's fetus.
What Happened
Moya gets to a Scarran inspection station on the way to Katratzi. John pretends to be a Sebacean spy working for Scorpius, while Sikozu makes friends among her own people, the Kalish, who are running the station. She discovers that Aeryn is on a Scarran freighter that has just finished their time in quarantine. They are leaving in half an arn. Rygel fakes an illness, causing the whole station to lock down. Noranti goes in, pretending to be a doctor, and helps Rygel continue the ruse. John and Chiana are upset to learn that the Noranti's "help" was to make Rygel real for ill. It's a very contagious disease and may have already spread through the station and all the ships docked there.
Captain Jenek is worried about Aeryn's fetus and asks for a suitable recipient for transplant. As Nebari are immune to the disease, Chiana is chosen. She isn't happy about that. Sikozu kills the lights and John shoots his way in and out of the freighter. Scorpius is left behind, a prisoner of Jenek. Harvey pops in, however, telling John that he's been transmitting all the information in John's head to Scorpius. Every single equation. Before long, Scorpius will be sharing all that with the Scarrans.
What We Learned

- Vreena doesn't do Peacekeepers.
- You can always muck with a power source.
- John's body count is already too high.
Oh By the Way
Did you know Aeryn is pregnant? Considering they tell us every single "previously on," I would hope so. Frankly, if a person hasn't been watching and can't figure it out from context, they really shouldn't be allowed to watch at all.
What Did I Think?
The start to another great three-parter.
