In which life has a melody.
Everyone with a name survives the crash on Kobol. Six appears to Baltar and leads him away from the others, promising to tell him why she chose him. She explains that he is the guardian of the new generation of God's children and shows him a cradle.
With Starbuck gone, Adama sends Sharon (who survived her suicide attempt) in a Raptor to nuke the Cylon Basestar.
On Caprica, Sharon tells Helo that they need to get into the museum to find the Arrow of Apollo. While they are waiting for nightfall, she also feels the need to announce that she is pregnant. Helo really doesn't know what to do with that.
Unknown to them, Starbuck has landed and entered the museum. She's just found the arrow, when she is attacked by Six. They get into a seriously brutal fight that Starbuck barely manages to win, just as Helo and Sharon arrive. Starbuck is amazed when she sees Sharon, and even more so when Helo won't let her shoot the Cylon.
Tigh leads a squad to arrest Roslin, but Apollo pulls his gun on Tigh and orders him to back away. Sensing the stand-off is about to end badly, Roslin tells them all to put their guns down and surrenders.
Boomer has to dock inside the Basestar when the release mechanism on the bomb is jammed. She lands and releases the bomb, then hears a voice calling her name. She is confronted by a group of Cylons with her face; freaked, she runs back to the Raptor and takes off. As they fly away, the nuke goes off.
Back on Galactica, Adama locks up Roslin, then walks right past his handcuffed son to thank Boomer for a job well done, despite personal misgivings.
Boomer says "You're welcome" with two gunshots to the chest.
Excellent season finale, with every story they've been playing out hitting its high mark all at once. The slow-burn of Helo on Caprica may just turn out to be the most fascinating.
