Painkiller Jane Episode Review
In which no one should be immortal; it drives you nuts. Important episode of Painkiller Jane for given Jane more control over her powers, but aside from that? Not so much going on.
What Happened
A nineteen year old model collapses on the runway, looking like she's ninety by the time the paramedics arrive. Sudden aging kind of screams "Neuro," so Jane's latest body image issues will have to be set aside while she and Maureen go undercover. They make what have to be the world's most unrealistic models this side of ANTM, but that's okay, because it's time for the plot to kick in.
Riley discovers that model Wanda was born in the fifties - which kinds of makes her the prime suspect in Jane's sudden disappearance. Fortunately, Jane has been drugged and is unconscious during Wanda's yammering about immortality. Having figured out that Jane can't die, Wanda has decided to keep her around as a reliable food source.
As Wanda strolls away, Jane notices that a cut on her hand isn't healing. Recalling something Seth said, Jane makes a conscious effort to heal the cut and succeeds. Encouraged, she breaks a wrist to get out of the cuffs and reaches for a cell phone.
Wanda catches her, however, and chains her back up. The next time Wanda takes her youth, Jane does not recover. Deciding that it was too good to be true, Wanda uncuffs Little Old Lady Jane and starts herding her out the door. A bit of concentration and Jane is back to normal and dumping Wanda at Andre's feet as he and Connor arrive with Maureen.
Taking Wanda back to the lab, they can only watch as she starts twitching and screaming. Stunned, Jane realizes that Wanda is experiencing all the wounds that Jane ever healed from. She dies a few seconds later.

What Did I Think?
Typical. And I wasn't all that impressed by the actress playing Wanda. Jane's little arc was interesting, however, and the ending was pretty creepy.
