The Color Of
In which the obvious is pointed out - a lot.
What Happened
A tattoo artist gives Jim a clue to the killer's identity.
The Good
- "Death and Taxes" tattoo for Jim. How appropriate.
- Botnick's funeral. People are crying? I wouldn't have thought he was that well-liked.
- "You never told me your last name." Watch Mary's annoyed expression as Jim clumsily fishes for information.
- Death and taxes. The only certain things, but if the residents of Push don't pay taxes...?
The Bad
- Peyote-tinted flashbacks. This isn't going to take all episode, right?
- Fine. The list tacked up in the semi means something. Got it. No. No. Really, I do.
The Cliche
- Profrock's absent/mysterious father. But of course.
- Grace is snooping around on Prufrock's behalf. She is so dead in a Dramatic Manner in a few episodes.
Best Lines
Prufrock: "And the only two people who should be doing something about [the murder] are sitting here watching morning television."
Sheriff: "Boy, you have no idea what I watch on television."
Evil Mystery Man: "And that, among other reasons is why my socks cost more than your suit."
Evil Mystery Man: "We also suggest that if an assassin with a tattoo is dispatched to commit a public murder - he wear sleeves."
What Did I Think?
I am getting tired of these people.
