Stargate SG1

Spun out of the movie (back before everyone was doing it), Stargate SG1 was meant to be a fun adventure - and for the most part, that's what it was. May seem a little old fashioned these days when everything has to be dark and deep and meaningful, but the show had it's moments. Appealing characters, good continuity, and a strong sense of humor. 

Starring Richard Dean Anderson, Michael Shanks, Amanda Tapping, and Christopher Judge. In later seasons, Ben Browder and Claudia Black joined the cast.
